Let’s Ride!
G’DAY LA TOUR
Griffith Park, Observatory, Hollywood Sign, LA River
Ready to soar to the top a little-known trailhead ridge in Griffith Park -- an urban wilderness smack in the middle of LA -- with insane 360 degree views of the H✩llyw✩✩d Sign and Griffith Observatory? Or roll right to the front door of the Observatory, gliding past cars impatiently stacked up along Mount Hollywood? In this 18 mille loop on our electric bike tour we'll also visit the Griffith Park Ranger's Station, Cathy's Corner (site of the "LA LA Land" movie's infamous dance sequence), the Autry Museum, LA Zoo, the storied hillside enclave of Los Feliz, the LA River and a host of other cultural landmarks in between. Discover Walt Disney's little-known legacy and local connections, and hug the largest Avocado tree in the USA. Plus meet hikers, horses, hawks and hopefully a bobcat or coyote (!) along the way.
EASTSIDE EXPRESS TOUR
Elysian Park, Dodger Stadium, LA River, Frogtown
Seeking a short n sweet ride to sample the Eastside? From the soaring palm tree-lined Elysian Park (LA's oldest park) to a bird's eye view of Dodger Stadium high atop a hilltop helipad. From an historic, art-deco jail that once housed he notorious American gangster Al “Scarface” Capone, to a breezy cruise through Frogtown's burgeoning art scene, along the LA River to Glendale Narrows. The two-lane, two-way stretch of the paved Elysian Valley bike path offers joggers, walkers, bike commuters and pleasure riders a safe haven from cars, but this little ribbon of joy also unfurls along restaurants and coffee shops aplenty.
BEST OF DOWNTOWN LA TOUR (weekends only)
Gritty to glamorous, heritage to hipster, art to architecture - explore the ultimate urban adventure of DTLA like a local with our luxury e-bikes doing all the work for you. From the largest art colony in the world to secret back alleys, pop up flea markets, spiral staircases and the monumental helical bike ramp of the Sixth Street Viaduct. From majestic mosaics at the Federal Building and Union Station to historical artifacts at Ávila Adobe, the oldest residence in the city of Los Angeles. Immerse yourself in the colorful cacophony of Santee Alley and the Piñata District then get some calm 'helmet time' amidst Elysian Park's wide, palm lined trails and rolling hills with sweeping views of Dodger Stadium and the San Gabriel Mountains. We’ll hit four Districts (Arts District, Fashion District, Piñata District and Flower District) four Parks (Glassell Park, Cypress Park and Elysian Park) three Towns (Chinatown, Dogtown, Frogtown) plus Lincoln Heights and Atwater Village. All this and more with electric bike tours Los Angeles. Let's Ride!
WILD BACKSIDE LOOP
Griffith Park + LA River
Go deeper into this alternative, more remote, tour of Griffith Park to show the extraordinary wild backside of this massive park. While we begin the tour similar to our other Griffith Park route of G'day LA, instead, riders will peel off at Cathy's Corner (site of the "LA LA Land" dance sequence) and head across natural chapparal-covered terrain to Beehive Rock for views of the San Gabriel Mountains. We'll also stop at Travel Town, the Ranger's Station, Autry Museum, LA Zoo, glide along the LA River, Los Feliz, Love Lock Bridge and into Atwater Village. Note: this ride does not include the Hollywood Sign or the Observatory, and is cooler in summer as sun is on the other side of the hill.
